Flight World War II

Flight World War II

Based on true events? Ha Ha

(2015) A modern day commercial jet en route to London flies through a storm and comes out the other end in the year 1940. Suddenly the crew and passengers look out the window and see German fighter planes firing at them. How do they know what type of planes they are? Two of the passengers are World War II historians!

A few of the people on board quickly picked up on the idea … “Hey, we can change the outcome of the war!”

Although I kept thinking, “Ridiculous,” I must admit that I enjoyed watching it and laughed out loud several times.

The movie was made by a company called  (appropriately, I thought) The Asylum. It’s an independent film company that primarily makes direct-to-video films. I’m pretty sure Flight World War II was never shown in a theater. I watched it on Netflix.

Low budget. Most of the action takes place inside, or right outside, the plane. Ridiculous, yes but entertaining.
