The Dam Busters, WWII Movie starring Sir Michael Redgrave
(1955) This is a wonderful movie, a true story and so British. Sir Michael Redgrave is the “mad scientist” character who has conceived of a way to destroy dams in Germany that were critical to Nazi water supply and warfare production.
I was literally on the edge of my seat as the planes flew toward their target.
