I live in Grosvenor Square, WWII Movie starring Rex Harrison and Dean Jagger
(1945) British movie released in the United States as “A Yank in London.” Yes, an American GI arrives in London and promptly falls for a lovely British Lady.
I was hoping it would show a lot more of London and Grosvenor Square (AKA Eisenhower Platz) as it was during the war than it did. My mother worked there in 1944.
I am so charmed by Rex Harrison. Apparently, many women were. He was married six times and was called “Sexy Rexy.”
