(1943) The Royal Canadian Mounted Police battle the Nazis in the northern wilderness. I do enjoy Errol Flynn’s movies, despite his offscreen antics. And there was a scene of excellent skiing. One of the Nazis racing down the mountain was a ski champion.
I read that the British maintained several POW camps in Canada for German prisoners. They were transported there for security reasons and because food was not as scarce as in England.
I can only imagine that in 1943 the folks here at home were very interested in what might be happening just north of the USA …
