Lucia Dansar

Not to be outdone, I am sure, Miss Hedvig Johnson’s photograph was also published in the Stockholm newspaper during the year 1944. Even with the crease across her face in this old discolored clipping it is clear that she was a beauty. No wonder the photographer caught her dancing with Captain Robb, assistant Military Air Attache,
I have (tried to) translate the copy. Would love it if someone who knows how to do a better job could help me here. I have read that “Lucia” is a feast day celebrated in Sweden on December 13th so likely this was a celebration around that time.

The Swedish copy, exactly as written:

Lucia Dansar. också nu för tiden. Ja, det är ingen hejd på vad damen blivit vital på senare år. T. v. har fotografen fangat ett dekorativt par på en av de stora restaurangerna, Miss Johnsson och Mr. Robb från amerikanska legationen. Länst t. h. en annan balgäst, fröken Ingrid Berg.

My Rough Translation, with help from Google: (I need more help!)

Lucia Dances also nowadays. Yes, there is no limit that the lady has become vital in recent years. The photographer captured a decorative pair at one of the great restaurants, Miss Johnson and Mr. Robb from the American Legation.
