(1977) Yes, this movie took place at the beginning of World War II. The main actor was a pilot in the RAF, then the Army Air Corps.
But it’s really not a WWII movie as much as a chick flick. It was filmed on location in Paris, Greece, and Washington, DC. I loved it when the main character (French actress Marie-France Pisier) walked into the Parisian Hotel Regina, where my husband and I stayed when we were in Paris.
Based on the best-selling novel by Sidney Sheldon, The Other Side of Midnight is a story about love, lust, revenge, and sex.
Speaking of sex, I was surprised at the amount of nudity and had to look twice to confirm the year it came out, in 1977. I think that must have been the main attraction.
