30 Dec Objective, Burma!
(1945) So suspenseful that I had to watch it in stages.
Released in February of 1945, about the time that the Marines arrived at Iwo Jima so for sure the anti-Japanese sentiments were intense here at home.
I read that Winston Churchill was incensed that the movie didn’t give credit to the Brits for their Burma efforts, and the release of the film in Britain was delayed until 1952.
I am now an Errol Flynn fan. He was cool, calm, collected, caring.
