Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, WWII Movie starring Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz
(2001) The story takes place on the beautiful Greek island of Cephalonia, and that is where much of the filming took place.
It’s not fair for me to review a movie when I slept through most of it, but perhaps that is the review.
I do respect that the author of the book that this movie was based on wanted to tell the story of the Italian troops that were massacred by the Germans.
