Bent, a WWII Movie starring Clive Owen
(1997) This is a haunting movie about how gays were persecuted by the Nazis. Both of the main actors do an excellent job.
Originally it was a play, first produced in 1976 starring Richard Gere on Broadway, and revivals are still being performed. The story is set in 1930′s Germany when the first “undesirables” were sent to Dachau.
