(1965) First and foremost, the scenery, the shots of Italy and the Swiss Alps were magnificent.
Yes, I love Frank Sinatra, especially when he’s singing. I’m sure this movie was such a success because Frank was so popular. There was the required encounter with a beautiful woman.
He leads a group of POW’s on a high adventure escape. Surprise ending. Or, maybe not such a surprise.
I watched the first half and fast forwarded through the second.
