Midway, WWII Movie starring Charlton Heston
(1976) A star-studded cast … so many stars I had a hard time keeping them straight! Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, James Coburn, Glenn Ford, Hal Holbrook, Cliff Robertson, Robert Mitchum, Robert Wagner, and that’s not all!
Although criticized for its inaccuracies, this World War II movie was a very good review of what generally happened at the Battle of Midway in June of 1942.
I was particularly interested in the codebreaker, Joseph Rochefort.
Lots of action and WWII combat footage.
