(1964) Another British film that got off to a slow start but half way through I couldn’t wait to see how it ended.
An RAF squadron is given an almost impossible job to do. Cliff Robertson was a great pilot who had some difficult decisions to make. At one point I wondered … now how is he going to talk his way out of this one?
George Chakiris didn’t really fit the part … he was too cute. His hair was too perfect.
The best line of the movie was the last line: “You can’t kill a squadron.”
