Major Harley L. Robertson, Stockholm 1944

Harley was a good friend of Herman and Hedy through the years. His name was listed in the Directory of the American Legation in Stockholm as Major Harley L. Robertson. He was Assistant to the Military Air Attache from August 1944 to January 1945, and as such Harley would have worked closely with the American internees.

Long after the war was over Harley provided Torbjörn Olausson, Swedish author and film maker, with photos and information about the Swedish internees for articles that Olausson wrote in the 1970′s for the Swedish Aviation Historical Society.

His last address was in Woodland Hills, California.

I would love to make a connection with Harley’s family. His daughter’s name is Jackie; his son-in-law and grandson are both named Scotty.  Email me at pat@libertyladybook.com
